Welcome and thank you for visiting this site!
We who live in SW Florida are so lucky to have one of the greatest fisheries in the world in our backyard. It’s known as The Everglades National Park.
Whether you are interested in fishing for Snook, Redfish, Black Drum, Triple Tail, Trout, Pompano, Permit, Cobia, Sheephead, Sharks or Goliath Grouper, you can target most of these species during the same trip. If fishing isn’t in your blood but you just seek an adventure in sightseeing and island hopping there are plenty of birds, turtles, manatees, and dolphins to watch as we roam from spot to spot.
We launch out of Chokoloskee Island Park and Marina located on the Island of Chokoloskee just a bit south of Everglades City. Your charter can start as early as 7 am and go till sunset if you so choose. 3 adult anglers plus the Captain is about the max to fish comfortably. 2 adults plus 2 children plus the Captain can work as well.
Captain Brock Wagner has been fishing the nearshore Islands and offshore rock piles in the Everglades for over 20 years and will put both the novice and experienced anglers on some nice fish. He is from Charleston SC, is a graduate from the College of Charleston and moved to Florida in 1996 to learn these waters and play volleyball.
What to bring:
6) Child specific life jackets if underage
1) Change of clothes for the car ride home. Sometimes it rains.
2) Foul weather gear. We always try and dodge the rain but sometimes it gets us.

Tuff day of tournament fishing in the “Romp in the Swamp” event out of Port of The Islands with 78 boats and a ton of professional fishing guides. Maureen Reid Ramos and I persevered the outgoing tide to land; 3 Snook, 4 Redfish and 2 Trout! The largest of the 3 fish totaling 78”. Even though we weren’t in the $, I think we were in the top 5 so not too shabby for The Chunkbait 3!!!
Here’s a few pics from last weeks Chokoloskee adventures with Little Brocklett, Maureen Reid Ramos, Gary Ray Floyd and my Dad.
